François Francisci is a wine producer on the island of Corsica. Corsica has one of the most unique wine regions in France, with a mixture of soils, micro-climates, and topography creating distinctive wines. The island produces wines from indigenous grape varieties including Nielluccio (related to Sangiovese), Sciaccarellu, Vermentino (known locally as Malvoisie), and Muscat. Corsican wines are gaining increasing recognition for their quality and distinctive character, with many producers farming organically.
