About the Winery

Château de Montpatey is conveniently located between the vineyards of the Grands Crus route and the Côte Chalonnaise vineyard further south. The estate produces Burgundy wines including Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Côte Chalonnaise is a subregion of Burgundy known for producing excellent value wines, including Rully, Mercurey, Givry, and Montagny appellations. Wines from this area offer a great introduction to Burgundy at more accessible prices than their more famous neighbors in the Côte d'Or.
