Jean-François Echallier is a wine producer in the Beaujolais region, known for wines from the Saint-Amour appellation, one of the ten crus of Beaujolais. Saint-Amour is the northernmost cru, located just across the border from Pouilly-Fuissé in Burgundy, and is known as the essential wine for Valentine's Day due to its romantic name. The wines are made from Gamay grapes grown on a variety of soils including granite, clay, and limestone.
