Cave coop. Beaujolaise de Saint-Laurent-d'Oingt
About the Winery
The Cave Coopérative de Saint-Laurent-d'Oingt is a cooperative cellar in the heart of the Beaujolais Pierres Dorées (Golden Stones) region, located just 2 km from the medieval village of Oingt. Founded in 1961, the cooperative vinifies the production of approximately 320 hectares of vines from about 120 member producers. The cooperative is now part of Vignerons des Pierres Dorées. The wines are primarily in the Beaujolais appellation, including red wines from Gamay, white wines from Chardonnay, and Rose wines. The cooperative has been known for innovations such as the 'SMS label' that spelled out cuvée names.
“A historic cooperative cellar founded in 1961, vinifying wines from 320 hectares in the beautiful Pierres Dorées region of Beaujolais.”
