Jacques Conte is a wine producer in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France. The Languedoc is France's largest wine-producing region, with a Mediterranean climate and diverse terroirs that are ideal for growing a wide range of grape varieties. The region produces red, white, and Rose wines from varieties including Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Cinsault, Vermentino, and Grenache Blanc. In recent decades, the Languedoc has undergone a quality revolution, with many producers focusing on lower yields and better vineyard practices.
