About the Winery
Frédérique Piret, along with Jacky Piret, operates Domaine de la Combe in the Côte de Brouilly appellation of Beaujolais. Côte de Brouilly is one of the ten Beaujolais Crus, known for producing wines from Gamay grapes grown on the volcanic slopes of Mont Brouilly. The blue volcanic stone (diorite) of the Côte imparts a distinctive mineral character to the wines, which are known for their structure, complexity, and ability to age. The estate produces wines that showcase the unique terroir of this prestigious Cru.
“A Côte de Brouilly producer crafting volcanic terroir-driven Gamay wines.”
