Sylvie Bataillard operates Château de Belleverne in La Chapelle-de-Guinchay in the Beaujolais region. The estate produces wines from Gamay grapes, the signature variety of Beaujolais. La Chapelle-de-Guinchay is located near the Cru appellations of Beaujolais, where the granite soils and favorable exposure produce wines of notable quality and character.
