About the Winery
Jean-Marie Appert is a wine producer in the Beaujolais region of France. Beaujolais is situated between the Mâconnais to the north and Lyon to the south, covering approximately 55km in length and 14km in width. The region is planted almost exclusively with Gamay for red wines and a small amount of Chardonnay for white wines. The wines are typically made using carbonic maceration, which produces light, fruity styles that are meant to be consumed young.
“A Beaujolais producer crafting traditional Gamay wines.”
