About the Winery
Domaine Victor Credoz is a historic winery located in Château-Chalon in the Jura region of eastern France. The estate was established in 1859 and is currently run by Jean-Claude Credoz. Château-Chalon is one of the most prestigious appellations in the Jura, renowned for its Vin Jaune - a unique oxidative white wine made from Savagnin grapes. The estate also produces other Jura specialties including Chardonnay and Poulsard-based wines. The wines of Château-Chalon are aged in barrel for at least six years, developing complex walnut, spice, and dried fruit characteristics.
