Château Lafoux
About the Winery
Château Lafoux is located in Tourves, in the heart of 'Green Provence' (Provence Verte), in the grandiose cirque made up of the Sainte Baume massif, Mont Aurélien, and the Loube mountain. The name 'Lafoux' refers to the spring that flows at the end of the estate and supplies the town of Tourves. Yvon and Claudine Boisdron have been the owners since 2001, working for over 20 years to pass on their passion and create exceptional wines. Spread over 166 hectares including 30 hectares of vines, the estate has been converted to organic agriculture since 2012 and has initiated a biodynamic approach to express the complexity of their terroirs. The estate grows Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Rolle, and Uni Blanc. Their first cuvée 'VINICIUS' is a blend of Cinsault-Grenache and Rolle, defining the identity of their Rose. The wines are aged in oak barrels and stoneware jars.
“An organic estate in Provence Verte since 2001, producing wines from 30 hectares with a biodynamic approach and aging in oak barrels and stoneware jars.”
