Domaine de la Grézille
About the Winery
Domaine de la Grézille is a family estate located in Ambillou-Châteaux in the Anjou Blanc region of the Loire Valley. The property has a rich history dating back to the 15th century when wine already held the attention of the lord of la Grézille. Today, the domaine is owned by Bruno and Anne Paillocher since 1996. The 15-hectare vineyard is cultivated using organic agriculture methods. The estate grows various grape varieties including Grolleau, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc, and the newer Floréal variety. They produce red, Rose, and white wines, as well as sparkling wines and grape juice. Many cuvées are aged in oak barrels, and some are made without added sulfites. The estate also offers a 3km educational walking trail through the vineyards.
