Scea du Biac
About the Winery
Château Biac is an exceptional estate located in Langoiran, near Cadillac, in the Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The property is situated on steep slopes overlooking two bends in the Garonne River, offering unique terroir diversity ranging from pure clay to dense gravel over just 800 metres. Owned by the Asseily family since 2006, this Lebanese-British family fell in love with the property's stunning views and hidden charms. The 9.8-hectare vineyard produces red wines including their flagship Château Biac blend, as well as the cuvées Felix de Biac and Felicie de Biac. They also produce a small amount of the elegant Cadillac sweet wine. The estate has been restructured with high-density planting and manual harvesting, with guidance from renowned oenologists Patrick Léon and Christine Sourdes.
“A stunning Côtes de Bordeaux estate owned by the Asseily family since 2006, producing elegant wines from diverse terroirs overlooking the Garonne River.”
