SCEA Coudert Père et Fils, also known as Clos de la Roilette, is a family estate in Fleurie that has been in the Coudert family since 1967. Alain Coudert has been making wine since 1982. The estate comprises 14 hectares, expanded in 2005 with a parcel of Brouilly. In Fleurie, old vines surround the cellar, with an additional 3 hectares in the Champagne sector. The wine style is traditional, with whole-cluster fermentation and ageing in used oak foudres. The cuvée 'Les Griffes du Marquis' undergoes twelve months of barrel ageing. These wines show beautiful ageing potential, appearing dense and fleshy.
