André Petit
About the Winery
André Petit is a Cognac and Pineau des Charentes producer in Berneuil, in the Charentes region. The house's origins date back to around 1850 when Monsieur Goulard, Jacques Petit's great-great-grandfather, built a distillery. The brand became 'Petit' in 1921 when Jacques' grandmother married Albert Petit. Today, Jacques Petit, the owner and master blender, crafts artisan Cognacs from 17 hectares of vines, using grapes including Ugni Blanc, Colombard, and Merlot. The house produces a range of Cognacs, Pineaux des Charentes, and innovative products including Cognac liqueurs infused with green tea and pear liqueur. The wines are made from a sustainable agriculture approach.
