Maison Bernard-Bonin
About the Winery
Domaine Bernard-Bonin is a prestigious white Burgundy estate in Meursault, founded in 1998 by Véronique Bernard and her husband Nicolas Bonin. The domaine cultivates around 7-9 hectares, all white wine vineyards located in Meursault and neighboring Puligny-Montrachet. The estate is certified biodynamic (Demeter) and follows a holistic approach with minimal intervention in both vineyard and cellar. They plough the soil using horses, and vinification is carried out without sulphur until bottling. The wines mature in oak barrels for 15-18 months without fining or filtration. Their holdings include Meursault Premier Cru Genevrières, Meursault Premier Cru Charmes-Dessus, Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières, and Puligny-Montrachet La Garenne. The wines are distinguished by their purity, freshness, and mineral depth.
“A biodynamic white Burgundy estate in Meursault, crafting pure and mineral-driven wines from prestigious Premier Cru vineyards since 1998.”
