About the Winery

Château Carsin is a family winery and farm located in the hills of Rions, in the Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Purchased in 1990 by Finnish wine enthusiasts, the estate spans 13 hectares of organic vineyards certified Agriculture Biologique (Ecocert) since 2022, though organic viticulture began in 2003. The estate produces a wide range of wines including dry whites, Roses, reds, sweet wines, and sparkling wines, along with fruit jams, non-alcoholic sparkling grape juice, and barrel-aged balsamic vinegar. The estate is run by winemaker Nea Berglund. Carsin also operates a farmhouse cottage accommodating up to 8 people, and organizes events, concerts, and cinema screenings. The estate is passionate about agroforestry and biodiversity, with more than 120 fruit trees, berry bushes, and a large vegetable garden.
