Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux
About the Winery
Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux is a prestigious Burgundy estate founded in 1858 in Vosne-Romanée. Today, Florence Arnoux-Lachaux (daughter of Robert Arnoux) leads the 14-hectare exploitation with her eldest son Charles Lachaux at her side. Since Charles joined the estate in 2011, he has brought a new dynamic with regenerative agriculture, eco-pasturing, biodynamics, and high trellising. The domaine uses whole-cluster fermentations since 2012 with short cuvaisons and a very non-interventionist approach. From the 2022 vintage, sandstone vessels replaced all oak barrels for ageing. The domaine produces wines from prestigious appellations including Grands Crus (Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Clos de Vougeot), Premiers Crus, and village appellations across Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, and Gevrey-Chambertin. These are some of the most highly sought-after wines in all of Burgundy.
“A legendary Burgundy domaine founded in 1858 in Vosne-Romanée, now pioneering regenerative agriculture and sandstone ageing under Charles Lachaux.”
