Maison Brotte: Wine Museum & Shop
About the Winery
Maison Brotte is a family-owned winery and wine museum in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, in the heart of the Rhône Valley. The Brotte family has been producing Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Rhône Valley wines since 1931, and they own three estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Cairanne, and Laudun. The Musée du Vin, created in 1972 by Jeanne Brotte, is the only one of its kind in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, offering a unique 500m² immersive and educational audio-guided journey through the history of Rhône Valley appellations and winemaking. The museum has been awarded the Tourisme & Handicap label since 2023. Visitors can discover the art of winemaking from grape cultivation to bottling, and finish with a commented tasting by one of the sommeliers. The estate offers a range of experiences from €10 to €100, including the Discovery Trail, Prestige Course, and Exceptional Tour.
