About the Winery

Domaine des Hautes Collines de la Côte d'Azur is the former name of what is now Vignoble Rasse in Saint-Jeannet. The estate, now known as Vignoble Rasse, is the last remaining vineyard in Saint-Jeannet, a village that was once covered in vines. The Rasse family continues a unique tradition of winemaking that dates back thousands of years to Roman times. Georges Rasse took over from his father in 1986 and has spent three decades blending grape varieties to create increasingly refined wines. The estate is famous for its method of aging wine in glass demijohns exposed to the sun, producing wines with distinctive amber color and complex aromas of spices and nuts. The vineyard enjoys an ideal microclimate at 400m altitude, facing south, with views of the Mediterranean. The estate is certified in Organic Agriculture and offers a variety of cuvées including the iconic Tuilé de Saint-Jeannet.

Historic Saint-Jeannet vineyard, now Vignoble Rasse, known for unique sun-aged wines in demijohns.
