Vignoble Rasse
About the Winery
Vignoble Rasse is a family vineyard located in Saint-Jeannet, in the hills above Nice on the French Riviera. Since 2014, the Rasse family has operated this unique estate, continuing a winemaking tradition that dates back to Roman times. The vineyard lies at the foot of the Baou de Saint-Jeannet at an altitude of 400 meters, offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean. The estate is known for its diverse collection of grape varieties including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Grenache, Rolle, Viognier, and Chardonnay. Vignoble Rasse is particularly famous for its 'Tuilé' wines - an ancestral method of aging wine in glass demijohns exposed to the sun, which gives the wines unique amber color and complex aromas of dried fruits and spices. The estate produces red, white, and Rose wines under the IGP Alpes Maritimes designation.
