Quentin Beaufort
About the Winery
Quentin Beaufort is a Champagne producer based in Ambonnay, one of the most celebrated Grand Cru villages in the Montagne de Reims region of Champagne. The Beaufort family has been making organic champagne since 1971, with Quentin's father Jacques being a pioneer in organic viticulture in Champagne. Quentin founded Domaine Alice Beaufort (named after his wife) and continues the family tradition of natural winemaking. The family estate was divided among siblings, and Quentin works with some of his father's oldest vines planted in 1969. He also has vineyards in Burgundy at le Petit Beaufort, just outside the official Champagne appellation. Total SO2 levels in his wines are typically between 10-30 mg/L, reflecting his commitment to minimal intervention.
