About the Winery

Château de Paraza is a historic estate in the Minervois appellation of Languedoc, with origins dating back to the 17th century. The château once hosted Pierre-Paul Riquet, the architect of the Canal du Midi. Acquired by Annick and Pascal Danglas in 2005, the 75-hectare estate has been completely transformed. The Danglas family produces a range of wines including reds, whites, and Roses, with grape varieties including Syrah, Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Marselan, Roussanne, and Gewurztraminer. The estate is certified HVE 3 (High Environmental Value) and follows sustainable viticulture practices. The property features a wine bar, guest rooms in the historic château, and hosts events throughout the year. Their wines are known for great aromatic richness and balanced structure.
