About the Winery
Domaine Abélanet-Laneyrie is a family-owned wine estate located in Chaintré, in the southern Mâconnais region of Burgundy. For the last 36 years, the estate has been managed by Eric and Colette Abélanet, with help from their sons Valentin and Samuel. The family cultivates 7 hectares of vineyards, mostly in Pouilly-Fuissé, with additional parcels in Mâcon-Chaintré, Mâcon-Vinzelles, Saint-Véran, and Crémant de Bourgogne appellations. The estate holds old vines and follows sustainable farming principles that respect tradition while employing modern techniques in the cellar. They produce a range of white Burgundy wines, including the prestigious Pouilly-Fuissé, known for its richness, complexity, and aging potential. The estate is particularly noted for its Pouilly-Fuissé wines aged in oak barrels.
