About the Winery
Earl Domaine J.-L. Maldant is a wine estate in Chorey-lès-Beaune, in the heart of Burgundy's Côte de Beaune. Chorey-lès-Beaune is an appellation known for producing excellent value Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines from vineyards on limestone and clay soils near the famous town of Beaune. The estate produces wines that express the character of this underrated appellation, crafting both red wines from Pinot Noir and white wines from Chardonnay. The Côte de Beaune is home to some of Burgundy's most prestigious Grand Cru vineyards for white wines, including Corton-Charlemagne and Montrachet, and the estate benefits from the region's exceptional terroir and winemaking traditions.
