GAEC Agnel is a wine estate in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France. The Languedoc-Roussillon is one of France's largest wine-producing regions, stretching along the Mediterranean coast from the Rhône to the Spanish border. The region is known for producing wines from grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Cinsault for reds, and Picpoul, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Marsanne for whites. Languedoc-Roussillon wines have undergone a quality revolution in recent decades, with many producers crafting wines of exceptional character and value.
