Gérard Dolder
About the Winery
Gérard Dolder is a wine producer in Mittelbergheim, a village ranked among the 100 most beautiful villages in France, located on the Alsace Wine Route. The Dolder family has been farming and winemaking in Mittelbergheim since the 19th century. Gérard Dolder dedicated himself entirely to viticulture, establishing a 7-hectare estate on the slopes near the village. The estate is located near the Zotzenberg Grand Cru vineyard, the only Alsace Grand Cru where Sylvaner is permitted as a Grand Cru variety. The wines are crafted using manual techniques in the vineyard, respecting the nature of each grape variety and the environment. The estate produces approximately 450 hectoliters of wine, sold directly to visitors and regular customers. The range includes signature wines, festive wines, and everyday drinking wines.
“An Alsace estate in the picturesque village of Mittelbergheim, producing wines from 7 hectares of vineyards on the Wine Route.”
