Scea domaine Bernard-Clavelier
About the Winery
SCEA Domaine Bernard-Clavelier is a wine estate in Fixin, in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy. Fixin is a village appellation known for producing robust, age-worthy Pinot Noir wines from vineyards on limestone and clay soils. The domaine was established in 2006 through a partnership between the Clos Saint-Louis estate in Fixin and the Maison Champy winery. The estate produces wines under the Fixin appellation, which offers excellent value compared to more famous neighboring villages like Gevrey-Chambertin. The wines are crafted following traditional Burgundian methods, with careful vineyard work and aging in oak barrels to produce wines of structure and elegance.
