About the Winery

Calmus Père et Fils (Domaine Calmus) is a family estate located in Joigny, in the Yonne department of Burgundy. Farmers for four generations, the Calmus family began viticulture in 1998 and has since developed a 4.5-hectare vineyard stretching across the hillsides of Joigny. The estate produces a range of Burgundy wines including white (Bourgogne Chardonnay), red (Bourgogne Pinot Noir), Rose (Bourgogne Rose), grey (Bourgogne Pinot Gris), and Crémant de Bourgogne. The wines have received recognition, including the Brennus d'Argent 2013 for their Bourgogne Chardonnay 2010. The estate sells wines at the Joigny market on the first Saturday of each month and holds an Open Doors event on the first Sunday of June. Tastings at the cellar are available by appointment.
