Christine de Mianville is a highly regarded specialist in Jasnières, one of the Loire Valley's most distinctive and rare appellations. Her tiny 1-hectare estate is dedicated to producing profound, textured, beautifully refined white wines from Chenin Blanc grown on the unique terroirs overlooking the Loir valley. Jasnières is known for producing some of France's most age-worthy and mineral-driven white wines from Chenin Blanc, grown on tuffeau limestone and silex soils. Christine de Mianville handcrafts minuscule quantities of wine, with each parcel vinified separately to express its unique terroir. Her wines are known for their remarkable concentration, precision, and ability to develop complex aromas with age. She produces both dry wines and vendange tardive (late harvest) selections.
