France / Rhone Valley
Jean-pierre Allemand
About the Winery
Jean-Pierre Allemand is a wine producer in the Rhône Valley region of France. The Rhône Valley is one of France's most important wine regions, stretching from Lyon to Avignon and divided into the Northern Rhône and Southern Rhône. The region is famous for wines made from Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Viognier, among other varieties. Rhône Valley wines range from the prestigious appellations of Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape to more approachable Côtes du Rhône wines. The diverse terroirs of the Rhône, from granite slopes to galets roulés, produce wines of remarkable character and depth.
“A Rhône Valley producer crafting wines in one of France's great wine regions.”
