Vincent Lacoste
About the Winery
Vincent Lacoste is the owner of Château de Cranne in the Bordeaux wine region. A sixth-generation winemaker, Vincent took over the family estate in 2005 and immediately began converting the 33-hectare property to organic viticulture, obtaining organic certification in 2009. He was one of the first in Bordeaux to make this transition. The estate produces a range of wines including red, white, Rose, and orange wines. The vineyard is planted on the prestigious gravelly hillsides of Bordeaux. Vincent has also been innovative in planting disease-resistant grape varieties to adapt to climate change. The estate produces wines under the Bordeaux and Côtes de Bordeaux appellations, crafting approximately 200,000 bottles annually. Château de Cranne's wines are known for their balance, freshness, and expression of terroir, with a focus on sustainable viticulture.
“A pioneering organic Bordeaux estate, Château de Cranne produces red, white, Rose, and orange wines from 33 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards.”
