Gaec aimé Bernard et Fils
About the Winery
GAEC Aimé Bernard et Fils is a four-generation family estate located near Corbonod in the Savoie region, at the foot of the Alps near Lake Annecy, Lake Bourget, and Lake Geneva. The domaine cultivates 15-17 hectares of vines using sustainable farming methods with grass cover between the vines. The soil is clay-limestone with glacial alluvium and sandy molasses. The estate produces approximately 70% white and sparkling wines under the AOP Seyssel and 30% red and Rose wines under the AOP Savoie. They cultivate six grape varieties including Molette, Altesse, Sauvignon for whites, and Gamay, Pinot Noir, and Mondeuse for reds. The estate is known for producing traditional-method sparkling wines from Seyssel, one of the oldest sparkling wine appellations in France. Visitors are welcomed at the estate for tastings and direct sales.
