Domaine du Cellier des Cray, also known as Domaine Adrien Berlioz, is a prestigious estate located in Chignin, in the Savoie region of eastern France. Situated on the clay-limestone soils of the Bauges foothills at approximately 390 meters above sea level, the domaine encompasses about 4.5 hectares of organically farmed vineyards. Adrien Berlioz took over the family estate in early 2006 and transformed it into one of the most prestigious domaines in Chignin. The vineyards are planted with indigenous Savoie varieties including Jacquère, Roussanne, and Mondeuse. The estate practices organic and biodynamic farming methods, with vineyard work adapted to the steep slopes of the mountainous terrain. The wines are vinified with minimal intervention, using indigenous yeasts and gravity-fed systems to preserve the purity of the fruit. The estate produces wines of remarkable concentration and finesse that express the unique mountain terroir of Savoie.
