About the Winery

Daniel Bellugue operates Château Tertres du Plantou in the Bergerac appellation of South West France. Bergerac is located on the Dordogne River and shares many similarities with Bordeaux in terms of climate and grape varieties. The appellation produces red wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec, as well as white wines from Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, and Muscadelle. The region's clay-limestone and gravel soils create ideal conditions for producing structured, elegant wines. Château Tertres du Plantou produces wines that showcase the quality and character of the Bergerac terroir.
