Jean-Luc Bernillon is a wine producer in the Beaujolais region, crafting wines in the Brouilly appellation from 12 hectares of vines. Brouilly is the largest and most southerly of the ten Beaujolais crus, producing wines from sandy soils that yield ruby-colored wines with aromas of cassis and strawberry. The wines of Brouilly are known for their approachability, with supple tannins and fresh fruit character. Jean-Luc Bernillon's wines reflect the traditional Beaujolais style, emphasizing the pure expression of Gamay grown on the varied terroirs of Mont Brouilly.
