About the Winery

Christian Dolder is an independent winemaker in Mittelbergheim, Alsace, operating a family estate of approximately 16 acres (6.5 hectares). The domaine produces all the different wines authorized in Alsace, including Crémant d'Alsace sparkling wines, late harvest wines (Vendanges Tardives), and the famous Grand Cru Zotzenberg from Mittelbergheim. The family works in the vineyard respecting the environment, using natural products whenever possible. Harvest is done traditionally by hand, and wines are fermented in wooden casks and stainless steel vats. The estate also offers guest rooms with views of the vineyards, the Vosges mountains, and the Alsace plain.
