About the Winery

D. Abadie is a wine estate located in Castres-Gironde in the Bordeaux region. The estate is housed in an 18th-century former hunting lodge and produces wines blending 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Malbec. The wines are aged for twelve months in barrique (French oak barrels), resulting in generous, velvety wines with melted tannins. The wines display a brilliant color, a nose of discreet elegance balancing fruit and oak, and a supple, persistent palate with notes of red fruits and undergrowth. The estate's wines are suitable for aging for two to three years.
