Charentay, 69220 Belleville-en-Beaujolais, France

About the Winery

Anne d'Aleyrac is part of the historic Château de Monternot estate, a family heritage dating back to the 17th century in Beaujolais. The Château de Monternot has been passed down through generations of Anne de La Poype's family. In 1992, the union of Philippe de La Poype and Anne d'Aleyrac united two historic families and their vineyards, gradually expanding the estate to 40 hectares. The domaine encompasses multiple Beaujolais crus including Juliénas and Brouilly. In 2010, the official merger of the two family estates created the unified Château de Monternot. Today, the estate continues its legacy of excellence with the next generation, Astrid, continuing the family tradition.
