About the Winery
Patrick and Philippe Allegret are the heirs to a family wine estate on the island of Corsica, operating Clos Sonnenta, a 4-hectare domain overlooking the Bravone river. The brothers have been committed to organic viticulture since 2008, producing wines that reflect the unique Corsican terroir. Corsican wines are known for their distinctive character, influenced by the island's Mediterranean climate, granite soils, and indigenous grape varieties including Niellucciu, Sciaccarellu, and Vermentino. The estate produces wines under the Corse AOC appellation.
“Corsican brothers continuing a family winemaking legacy with organic practices at Clos Sonnenta.”
