Thierry Mathon is a wine producer in the Beaujolais region, crafting wines with a focus on terroir expression and traditional methods. The Mathon family has been involved in Beaujolais winemaking for multiple generations. Thierry Mathon produces wines in the Brouilly appellation, one of the ten crus of Beaujolais, from Gamay grapes grown on the volcanic soils surrounding Mont Brouilly. Brouilly is the largest and most southern of the Beaujolais crus, known for producing wines with notes of red fruits and a supple, approachable character.
