About the Winery

Château La Tuilière is owned by Philippe Estournet and is one of the oldest wineries in the Côtes de Bourg region, often referred to as the 'little Switzerland' of the Gironde. The estate spans 20 hectares of clay-limestone soil, featuring 13 distinct vineyards. The vineyard composition includes 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Malbec, producing three red wines and a Rose. The philosophy at Château La Tuilière is 'Quality First, Quantity Second,' which has earned them numerous awards and recognition. Vinification occurs in traditional, smaller concrete vats, with cellars that are partially underground. The estate was acquired by Philippe Estournet in 1991, who patiently renovated the property, expanding the vineyard by 4 hectares in 1995.

One of the oldest wineries in the Côtes de Bourg region, producing quality-driven wines on 20 hectares of clay-limestone soil.
