About the Winery

Domaine de la Ville is a winery in the Charentes region of western France. The Charentes is best known for Cognac and Pineau des Charentes production, but it also produces a growing range of still wines under the IGP Charentais designation. The region's mild oceanic climate and clay-limestone soils provide ideal conditions for growing Ugni Blanc, Colombard, and other grape varieties. The estate produces wines that reflect the maritime character of this coastal region.
