About the Winery
Luc Boilley, along with his wife Sylvie, is a winemaker in the Jura region of eastern France. The Boilley family estate has been producing wines for over 30 years. The Jura is France's smallest wine region, located between Burgundy and the Swiss border, known for its distinctive wine styles including Vin Jaune (aged under a veil of yeast), Vin de Paille (straw wine), and sparkling Crémant du Jura. The region's indigenous grape varieties include Savagnin, Poulsard, and Trousseau. Luc and Sylvie Boilley focus on very ripe grapes to produce wines with concentration and character.
“Jura winemaker crafting distinctive wines including Vin Jaune from indigenous Savagnin and Poulsard grapes.”
