About the Winery
Domaine Bernard and Christophe Richel is a fourth-generation family farm in Saint-Baldoph in the Savoie region, near Chambéry. Established in the 1950s, the estate is now run by Christophe Richel and his son Matthieu. The 7-hectare vineyard lies in France's only Alpine wine region, adjacent to Saint-Baldoph and Apremont villages. The estate practices sustainable farming to produce high-quality grapes, making wines from Jacquère (Apremont), Mondeuse, and other local varieties. The domaine welcomes visitors for cellar and vineyard tours by appointment, offering tastings in a friendly atmosphere for groups and families.
