About the Winery
Maison Philippe Viallet is a négociant and wine producer in the Savoie region of the French Alps. The Viallet family has been working the vineyards of Savoie since 1966, when Marcel and Yvonne Viallet purchased their first estate, Domaine Clos Réservé, in Apremont, just 10km from Chambéry. Philippe Viallet joined the business in 1984 after studying oenology in Beaune, and in 1985 he created Maison Philippe Viallet, which specializes in showcasing the wines of Savoie. The house offers a range of terroir-driven wines from Savoie and the Jura, working with classic Alpine grape varieties including Jacquère, Altesse (Roussette), Mondeuse, and Gamay.
