About the Winery

Jean-Charles Pivot is a wine producer in the Beaujolais region of Burgundy. The estate possesses a 4-hectare vineyard on granitic and clay-siliceous soils, planted with Gamay and Chardonnay. The domaine produces wines including Beaujolais-Villages and Côte de Brouilly. Their wines are characterized by fruity aromas, freshness, and length, particularly from old vines. Production is approximately 180,000 bottles annually from manually harvested grapes with an average vine age of 40 years.
