About the Winery
Lucien Joudelat is a winegrower in Irancy, a small village in the Auxerrois region of northern Burgundy. Irancy is one of the few villages in the Yonne department with its own AOC for red wines made from Pinot Noir. The appellation is known for producing distinctive reds with a unique character influenced by the local Kimmeridgian soils. Some Irancy wines also include small amounts of César and Gamay grapes.
