About the Winery

Domaine de la Maurette is a picturesque vineyard located in La Motte en Provence, in the Var area of Southern France. The estate represents about fifty acres in production on rich clay and limestone soils. Old vines mingle with more recent plantations, each grown in a reasoned way and harvested by hand. Syrah, Vermentino, Cinsault, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Ugni Blanc are all involved in the development of the wines. Bruno Fournaire has been owner and producer since 1990, and together with Philippe Jouffroy, they produce Côtes de Provence and Vin de Pays du Var wines in red, Rose, and white. Visitors are always welcome to taste their wines at the Domaine.
