About the Winery

Champagne Bourgeois-Diaz is a family estate founded in 1963 when Jean-Bernard Bourgeois planted vines in Courmas on the Reims Mountain. Grapes were sold to the cooperative until the 1980s, when the family began producing their own champagnes. Today, Jérôme and Céline Bourgeois have taken over the business. The family cultivates 7 hectares of the three Champagne grape varieties (Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay) to offer a wide range of wines. Their work focuses on respectful, virtuous viticulture with HVE3 and VDC certification since 2021. Jérôme is in charge of all vineyard work, while Céline manages the winemaking and sales. The estate specializes in cellar-aged cuvées (five to ten years on laths), mainly from Pinot Meunier.
