Domaine FL
About the Winery
Domaine Fournier Longchamps (Domaine FL) was born in 2007 under the leadership of Julien Fournier, a family estate located in Rochefort-sur-Loire near Béhuard, 25 minutes from Angers. The estate produces only organic wines, with some vineyards cultivated according to biodynamic principles. The vineyard covers nearly 34 hectares on both sides of the Loire, on land that has welcomed vineyards since the 12th century. Chenin Blanc is the king grape variety, shaping wines across appellations including Savennières, Savennières Roches aux Moines, Coteaux du Layon, Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru, Anjou Blanc, and Anjou Villages. Philippe and Julien Fournier take a naturalistic approach, farming organically with minimal intervention in winemaking. All wines are matured on lees without racking, and malolactic fermentation is avoided to preserve freshness and focused acidity.
“An organic and biodynamic family estate in Rochefort-sur-Loire producing Chenin Blanc wines across prestigious Loire appellations since 2007.”
